Jen is Lattice’s newest coach, having joined the coaching team in summer 2019. Jen has 12 years experience as a climber and a solid background in competition climbing, being a current member of the GB Team. Jen was the European Universities Lead and Combined Champion for 2017; achieved a 23rd place in the Boulder World Cup in Chongqing 2019; and was British Speed Champion in 2018. Her future goals are to make a World Cup boulder semi-final next year, and to get climbing outdoors more!
As well as her personal climbing achievements, Jen has a Masters degree in Biochemistry & Microbiology and a curiosity for research and academia, which she hopes to develop at Lattice. She has also gained two years experience of in-person coaching at Rockover, Manchester. Within her new role with Lattice, Jen is most excited to learn a considerable amount about training, and is passionate about helping people achieve their climbing goals, whatever they may be. Jen will be highly involved with the new Lattice Youth Team and will be contributing to the technique content that Lattice will develop in the coming months.
