Jeff is a native of Northeastern Ohio and has been climbing since 2001. He enjoys both rock and ice climbing. During his early climbing years, he discovered his passion for climbing was rooted in sharing climbing with others. This motivated him to pursue a career as a climbing instructor. In 2011 he started working with New River Mountain Guides in Fayetteville, West Virginia.
Currently, he is the senior instructor and Operations Manager for the company. When the guiding season ends, he heads to Northeast Ohio to work a few months for his family’s Plumbing and HVAC company. Jeff plans to continue along the AMGA’s Guide track and guide year round.
Jeff’s interest in the Warrior’s Way began after reading The Rock Warrior’s Way book and recommendations from his brother who had participated in a training camp. He participated in a three-day Warrior’s Way camp and also assisted with Warrior’s Way courses after being hired by New River Mountain Guides. Jeff is excited to share the material with climbers and help them along their climbing journey.
