I’m a writer and a blogger, I record a podcast (ClimbSci) with my co-host Tom Herbert, and I also consult athletes on nutrition for performance and health through my company Boulder’s Elite Sports Nutrition. I specialize in nutrition for climbing, and write the internationally recognized blog Climbing Nutrition (climbingnutrition.com), where climbers can find concise, clearly written articles on how to use nutrition to improve in their sport. My work has been published in Climbing Magazine along with various online publications and blogs.
Outside of sports nutrition, I wrote a book (“The Multivitamin Lie”; available at Amazon.com) that critically evaluates the evidence for taking multivitamins and also provides explanations of common tools in nutrition evaluation—such as RDAs and DVs—for laypeople with little to no background or understanding of nutrition.
