July 17, 2026 — After more than 14 years leading the Adaptive Climbing Group, Kareemah Batts has launched Kareemah Batts Consulting, a practice focused on helping climbing gyms, universities, parks, and outdoor organizations develop accessible and sustainable adaptive climbing programs.

Batts said the consulting practice is designed to help organizations build adaptive climbing initiatives that align with their operational goals, staffing capacity, and available resources. Services include organizational assessments, strategic planning, written recommendations, implementation roadmaps, and follow-up consultation.

The firm’s flagship offering, the Building Adaptive Climbing Communities Assessment & Action Plan, provides organizations with an evaluation of their current accessibility efforts and a prioritized action plan for expanding or strengthening adaptive climbing opportunities.

Batts founded the Adaptive Climbing Group and has spent more than a decade working with climbing gyms, nonprofits, and community organizations across the United States to expand access to climbing. She also competes as a member of the USA Climbing Paraclimbing National Team.

“Kareemah Batts Consulting is built around practical strategies that organizations can implement within their existing operational realities,” Batts said in announcing the launch. “The goal is to help create more accessible, integrated, and sustainable climbing communities.”

Organizations participating in the assessment program receive:

  • A strategy session
  • An organizational assessment
  • A written assessment report
  • A prioritized action plan
  • A follow-up consultation
