About the Role
As Gym Manager, you’ll play a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence and cultivating an empowering team culture. You’ll collaborate with assistant managers, shift leads, and cross-department partners to deliver exceptional service and ensure a seamless daily workflow. This role is ideal for a seasoned manager with a strong customer service ethic, proven leadership skills, and a passion for community engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day gym operations with a hands-on approach that fosters teamwork, safety, and efficiency.
- Champion an outstanding member and guest experience by modeling exceptional customer service.
- Manage scheduling, staffing plans, and talent development-including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate across departments (events, retail, café, amenities, programs, etc.) to ensure strategic alignment and operational success.
- Facilitate feedback loops with members and staff to improve service and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Support maintenance and risk management efforts, ensuring our facility is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts that align with company goals and values.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience, including 4+ in customer service or hospitality.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading and managing a team.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook); knowledge of Rock Gym Pro is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Current First Aid/CPR and Utah Alcohol certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for enhancing the member experience.

Salary: $55,000- $65,000
