June 18, 2026 — comp.rocks, a new searchable map of climbing competitions across the United States, is now live on web and mobile browsers.
The site aims to compile every publicly available climbing competition in the United States and to make the information accessible to all climbers. Many competitions are only shared through a gym’s social media, which makes it difficult for gyms to reach climbers that don’t already follow them, and difficult for climbers to find competitions if they don’t already know where to look. comp.rocks aims to fix this by putting everything in one easily-searchable location.
Key features include:
-
Browse and Filter — an interactive map of upcoming comps, filterable by discipline, date, age category, cash purse, indoor/outdoor, USAC/local, and more
-
Submit — anyone can add a competition with only name, date, and discipline required. All competitions are manually reviewed and updated before appearing to users
-
USA Climbing Region lookup and map — tools that resolve a gym’s county or zip code to the correct USAC Youth region
The site has already published over 90 local competitions, with another 200 local/citizens comps and 100+ USAC-sanctioned comps expected to publish in the next year.
The site’s creator, Isaac Tessler, had this to say: “I love competing, but I was tired of finding out-of-date social media posts and useless search results on google. I built the site to be the tool I wished I’d had for years.”
comp.rocks is currently run independently by a single climber and is not affiliated with USA Climbing or any climbing organization. Email info@comp.rocks with any inquiries.
