December 12, 2024 – Minneapolis, Minnesota — We’re thrilled to announce a major milestone in our journey to expand and connect with more climbers and community members in the Twin Cities area.
Last week, we signed a lease at 42 West Water Street in St. Paul, aka Farwell on Water, now home of a future Bouldering Project! This will be a 30,000+ square foot bouldering gym with fitness and yoga offerings, a horseshoe-shaped mezzanine that overlooks the climbing area, single-stall bathrooms and showers, and sauna.
The landlord will spend the next several months making tenant improvements: building office walls, hallways, bathrooms, the mezzanine, updating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more. Once that is complete, the Bouldering Project will start building walls, installing pads, and adding operational components to the space. We are planning to open late 2025. This decision speaks to the incredible success we’ve seen in the Minneapolis gym in the past few years. Huge thanks to the entire Minneapolis team, and we’re excited for what is to come in that market.
