Job Summary:
Will work in a team of 3-5 setters providing high quality boulders on a weekly basis. Collaborate with fellow setters to ensure rotation goals are met, grade consistency, equitability, and safe setting practices.
Responsibilities:
- Strip zone of expired climbs
- Pressure wash dirty climbing holds
- Sort and organize bolts/screws
- Cut stuck holds and replace t-nuts
- Set 4-5 boulders per setting day
- Forerun as a group and make tweaks to boulders
- Put up down climb jugs
- Appropriately tag and log climbs
Requirements:
- 2 years commercial setting experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs over head
- Comfortable working at height on a ladder
- Forerun V6/5.12
- Rope Setting experience preferred but not required
- Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
- Team player who is willing to compromise and collaborate
