LOS ANGELES, CA – May 1, 2024 – ParaCliffHangers, a nonprofit organization run for and by rock climbers with disabilities is hosting an overnight climbing and fundraising event on Saturday May 18th, 2024 from 4PM to 2AM at The Post Climbing in Pasadena. This event is open to all, regardless of climbing experience.
ParaCliffHangers expands the rock climbing community to include people with disabilities. They foster joy, empowerment, adventure, community, and equity through indoor, outdoor, and competitive climbing. In the Los Angeles area, ParaCliffHangers regularly hosts indoor meetups every 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 6PM to 9PM at The Post Climbing in Pasadena.
At the Night Owl Climb-a-thon, there will be an Artist’s Alley, specialty instruction clinics, raffle prizes, food/drinks, a nap space, and games for prizes! All funds raised will go toward providing accessible opportunities for hundreds of paraclimbers indoors, outdoors, and at USAC climbing competitions.
