Climb is looking to hire a full-time routesetter to join its experienced crew. At Climb, our focus is on creating healthy, balanced, well-rounded climbers. In doing so, we help climbers avoid plateaus, injuries, and burnout. We focus our efforts on teaching climbers movement and testing them on their skills through our day-to-day setting and various events throughout the year.
A position on the Climb Nashville routesetting crew promises to be challenging, stimulating, and rewarding if the creation of movement and the development of climbers is of importance to you. Yes, we are looking for fit, capable routesetters, but more importantly, we are looking for individuals who have a passion for movement and an understanding of how to create it. Innovation is at the heart of the Climb routesetting program, therefore it’s expected that routesetters frequently explore new ideas with the team and consistently share their own.
A greater level of expertise, creativity, and understanding of the community is demanded of Climb’s Senior Routesetters as they aid the Head Routesetter in developing the program’s vision, driving the crew forward, and shaping a killer product.
Applicants should keep in mind that we also like to have fun and play hard. Events like our annual Hotter Than Chicken competition, ample professional development opportunities, maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and the encouraged pursuit of personal goals exemplify this.
Pay is highly competitive and based on experience.
