As an Instructor at The Gravity Vault Upper Saddle River, you represent the face of our business and have the most direct interaction with customers. Working closely under the guidance of the management team, you play a key role in delivering a consistently positive experience for guests each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using our POS system to check in customers and answer any questions they may have in person or over the phone.
- Assisting customers with membership and retail sales.
- Belaying for private sessions, youth and adult classes as well as parties.
- Ensuring safety of both staff and customers within the facility.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the facility by assisting with opening and closing cleaning procedures.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Availability: Weekdays, evenings and weekends (min. of 15 hours per week).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Climbing experience is a plus but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
- Experience working with children is strongly preferred.
