Role Overview:
The Service Representative I, supports EP Climbing clientele through performing field inspections, maintenance, and lead identification. This role helps customers manage safety, operational, and asset risk while representing EP professionally in the field.
Fully remote with frequent travel. Hours vary based on rep availability and business needs.
What Success Looks Like:
- Complete accurate, high-quality inspections and service visits aligned with EP standards.
- Identifies hazards, non-compliance, and practical corrective actions.
- Build strong client relationships through clear and concise communication.
- Identify service opportunities and share qualified leads with internal sales teams.
- Serves as a professional ambassador of EP Climbing during all field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field operations: Travel to client sites, work safely at height, and acts as a trusted and professional representative of EP Climbing while performing field services.
- Inspection & safety: Inspect walls, anchors, and systems; document hazards, compliance issues, and recommendations.
- Maintenance & repairs: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on holds, hardware, anchors, and structural components.
- Client support: Provide guidance on inspection routines, basic maintenance, safe operations, and risk-management practices.
- Sales opportunities: Identify upgrades, service needs, maintenance plans, and multi-year agreement opportunities and funnel leads back to internal sales team.
- Marketing Assets: Delivery of marketing assets while onsite and at additional service opportunities.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with Services, Sales, Marketing, and internal teams on scope, pricing, planning, and materials.
Qualifications:
- Experience with climbing wall inspection, construction, maintenance, or a related technical/mechanical field preferred.
- Ability to interpret and apply industry standards, including CWA standards and operational practices.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use tools, PPE, and access equipment.
- Comfortable working at height and in physically demanding environments.
- Clear communicator with strong client-facing skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Compensation:
- Base hourly rate: $25.00.
- $100 bonus for each qualified sales lead that results in an order
- Travel and sales expense reimbursement per company policy and approval.
