FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Escape Climbing has announced the acquisition of Legacy Ascension, a climbing hold brand started by Louie Anderson.
Ryan Angelo, President of Escape Climbing, stated that the acquisition of Legacy Ascension is an important step for the company’s growth and hold offering. “We are excited to welcome Legacy Ascension to the Escape Climbing family. Louie has built a great hold line that complements our existing offerings in the Kingdom and Working Class lines, and we are confident that this acquisition will allow us to better serve our gym and distribution customers.”
Legacy Ascension has been producing high-quality climbing holds for five years and has a reputation for its ergonomic shapes. With the acquisition, Escape Climbing will keep production at Aragon, Comp X, and Tack Composites for the various hold lines.
Louie Anderson, founder of Legacy Ascension, expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition, stating “I am thrilled to see Legacy Ascension join forces with Escape Climbing. Ryan and his team have been long-time friends, and I have enjoyed doing business with them over the years. I have no doubt that they will continue to innovate and push the brand forward.”
