HOLLAND, MI – Scrapyard Climbing Collective, Holland’s hometown indoor rock climbing gym since 2019, announces the launch of its “Better Together” Membership program. This initiative aims to make Scrapyard accessible to the entire West Michigan community by minimizing financial barriers to being a part of our community.
“Scrapyard has always been about fostering a sense of belonging,” says Josh Bochniak, Scrapyard owner. “The Better Together Membership reflects our commitment to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, can experience the benefits of climbing and community.”
The program offers tiered discounts based on self-identified need, with no formal proof required. This approach respects individual circumstances and relies on trust and honesty.
To further support the program, Scrapyard has established the Better Together Community Fund. Current members and community supporters can contribute to the fund, which will subsidize the discounted memberships. Scrapyard will cover any funding shortfall, ensuring the program’s sustainability.
“We believe in the power of community,” adds Bochniak. “The Better Together program is an invitation for everyone to join us in building a stronger, more inclusive climbing community in Holland.”
