Hi! I’m Cadance Hurt. I began climbing at a Lifetime Fitness at age 6, and my life has centered around the climbing community since then. Over the past 6 years, I’ve coached multiple elite teams and individuals while continuing to climb at a high level myself. I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting and Marketing, and made the move to Madrid, Spain, where I’m currently working as an English Teacher in a secondary school.
I’m moving back to Colorado in August and aim to start a career in the climbing world, whether through a business role (marketing, events, accounting, finance, etc.), continuing high-level coaching, or a mix of the two! Over the past years, I’ve gained experience in digital marketing and content creation within the climbing world, as well as experience within the world of business with internships focused on internal audit, external audit, and tax. Moving to a new country directly after graduation and having the opportunity to teach, coach, and mentor abroad has helped me grow in my leadership and communication skills.
