Routesetter
We are looking for creative, skilled individuals that want to help us push our route-setting program forward with unique movement, professionalism, and an ongoing passion for climbing as a sport. Experience and attention to detail are greatly appreciated. Skilled route setters should expect fair compensation.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with routesetting team to create a world class user experience
- Comply with SPC safety requirements and adherence
- Track routes contemporaneously
- Meet and exceed minimum quality and efficiency standards
- Set for competitions (boulder & rope)
- Help with general facility maintenance when needed
- Maintain professional relationships with all SPC staff
- Any and all duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Candidates must :
- Have a background in commercial routesetting (for both adult and youth)
- Work in an effective and efficient manner to complete tasks
- Ability to work with and respond to constructive feedback
- Ability to set/forerun up to V8 and 5.13
- Should have a USAC L1
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills required
