Assistant Manager – Vertical World
The Assistant Manager supports daily operations of a Vertical World facility under the Gym Manager. The position strives to offer VW staff an exceptional managerial experience, while also collaboration with management to accomplish the company’s goals. The Assistant Manager requires a high level of skill and dedication, and the ability to lead by example in every expected way.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- First point of contact for Front Desk personnel
- Assist in hiring and training of staff
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Weekly scheduling for front desk
- Help organize coordinator and staff meetings
- Assist with Front Desk and general staff communications and updates
- Assisting with gym and operational projects
- Assist in staff reviews and feedback
- Attend and contribute to Manager meetings
- Play role in member community and community building events
- Fulfilling managerial duties when manager is away
- All tasks or goals given by VW leadership team

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or experience to match
- 1+ years in leadership positions
- Experience in climbing industry
- Strong professional communication skills
- Passion for climbing and climbing communities
- Understanding of local climbing community
- Organizational and project management skills
- Experience with Rock Gym Pro or similar software
