Is your marketing working for you?
In this session, we’re diving into how climbing gyms can level up their digital marketing with limited budgets and staff time. We’ll talk about making content that actually connects—whether it’s getting laughs on Instagram, building community on Facebook, or showing up where your future members are already scrolling. You’ll leave with clear ideas on what kind of content to post, how often, and which platforms make the most sense for your goals.
We’ll also get into the nuts and bolts of using customer data to run ads that work—like how to help those one-time day pass visitors turn into full-blown members. Plus, we’ll cover how your website and online presence (think Google Maps, reviews, and SEO) can either help or totally block people from walking in the door. Expect practical tips and real-life examples of what works and what fails. Let’s nerd out about marketing and grow this community together.
This session is a great fit for anyone responsible for marketing and growing a climbing facility.

| TY MORRISON-HEATH
A lover of the outdoors, passionate marketer and total gear nerd, I grew up exploring the choss of the Alaskan Chugach Range and developed a deep respect and love for human-powered adventures in the mountains. I started climbing at Alaska Rock Gym in 1995 and have watched the evolution of the sport and community as climbing has grown from a niche sport to widespread. You can find me climbing, running, biking, skiing, hiking or exploring all over the world, often with my camera in tow. My home base these days is in NW Arkansas, but I spend a significant part of the year in my van touring around the country to play, visit with clients, and explore gorgeous places. |
