Upper Limits Rock Gym is currently seeking part-time Route Setters. Join the Upper Limits Team and be a part of the biggest privately owned climbing gym franchise in America. Upper Limits has 3 gyms in the Midwest, totaling 45,000 sq. ft. of climbing surface! Upper Limits is truly the Midwest’s premier climbing gym!
Principle Functions
-To strip and set roped routes and boulder problems (5.6-5.13 and V0-V10) at two St. Louis locations.
-To help maintain the climbing wall through regular inspection and repair.
-To regularly set boulder and rope routes
Responsibilities
-To help maintain appropriate route distribution
-To forerun, give and receive constructive feedback, and make appropriate adjustments and changes to routes.
-Hold washing
-To help run and prepare for competitions.
-To set what is needed in the gym, and as asked by the Head setter, and GMs
-To conduct oneself as a representative of Upper Limits at all times.
