Title: Youth Programs Coordinator / Desk Supervisor
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Worcester, MA
Status: Part-Time (10-20 hrs/wk) with the potential for full-time in the Spring
Pay: $20 – $25/hr

Summary:
The Youth Programs Coordinator / Desk Supervisor plays a key role in creating a positive, organized, and engaging experience for our youth climbers and their families while helping ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk. This position combines program coordination, leadership, and customer service, supporting the planning and execution of youth classes, team practices, camps, and events, as well as supervising front desk operations during assigned shifts.
Responsibilities
Youth Programs
- Coordinate registrations, rosters, and parent communication
- Curriculum development and coach oversight
- Plan weekly youth team practices, summer camp/school vacation programs, and youth-focused events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of youth programming items and storage areas
- Aid in youth program growth by helping make Canva graphics for advertising
- Also coaching the kids in some of these programs would be preferred but not required
Front Desk Supervision
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
- Supervise desk staff and operations when managers aren’t present
- Help to resolve customer concerns
- Maintain front desk organization and professionalism
Requirements
- Experience working with youth (education, recreation, coaching, childcare, etc.) and planning the operation of youth programs and events
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Tuesday evening availability required
- Flexibility for additional shifts throughout the week
- Climbing experience preferred but not required
- Local to the area year round
- Experience with Google Suite and Rock Gym Pro preferred.
