    Location: The Rock Club, New Rochelle, NY

Our unique facility features a variety of climbing walls, training areas, and community spaces designed to inspire and challenge our members.
    Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Route Setter to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for designing, setting, and maintaining high-quality climbing routes that engage and challenge our community. You will lead a team of route setters, collaborate on creative ideas, and ensure that our climbing experience is safe and enjoyable for everyone.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Design and set innovative climbing routes and problems for all skill levels, ensuring variety and excitement.
    Oversee route setting operations, including planning, execution, and maintenance of existing routes.
    Train and mentor junior route setters, providing guidance and feedback on technique and creativity.
    Collaborate with the gym management team to align route setting with member feedback and event programming.
    Collaborate with gym management team to ensure necessary maintenance tasks are performed as needed.
    Ensure all routes adhere to safety standards and best practices.
    Organize USA Climbing Qualifying Events and community competitions.
    Maintain climbing holds and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe climbing environment.
    Qualifications:
    3+ years of route setting experience in a climbing gym or similar environment.
    Minimum of a USA Climbing Level 2 Route Setting Certification or higher.
    Strong understanding of climbing techniques and safety protocols.
    Proven leadership and team management skills.
    Creative mindset with the ability to design engaging and diverse climbing experiences.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Passion for climbing and community engagement.
