    Website HALF MOON BOULDERING

    Family Owned, Community Focused

    Starting: mid-September
Work load: FT, starting at 32h
    Pay-rate: $24-$29/hour DOE

Picture this: you step into your workplace, and someone cheers your name. Your students and their parents are climbing in their spare time and greet you enthusiastically. As you make your way to the staff room, you recognize most of the people in the gym and stop to chat with them. When you finally make it to the office, there’s a thank you card from a student. This is just the beginning of your day and a likely scenario for everyone working at HMB. Later, you’ll get to play-compete Instructors vs. Students during class, you’ll give feedback on instruction, draw from Instructors’ ideas on curriculum improvements, and you’ll work directly with the gym’s owners and leaders in all departments to make the educational projects in the Programming Department as impactful for everyone in this community as you & your team can.

If you are looking to apply your professional experience and enthusiasm to a tight-knit community and a place where seasoned climbers and newcomers interact in an organic way, this is the place for you! We’re family-owned, hyper-local, and unique in our efforts to foster community, inclusion, and growth for everyone.

Our next enthusiastic and dedicated Programs Manager will lead our team of Instructors and foster a fun and welcoming environment for programs of all ages. You’ll introduce the fundamentals of climbing, build a strong base, continue to develop skills and classes, invest in the progress of youth and adults, create a solid curriculum and ensure a highly-engaged HMB community experience.
