The Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gyms’ mission is to make everyone’s rock climbing experience with us a positive and memorable one. Route Setter 
The Route Setters are some of the most important contributors to The Gravity Vault. Route Setters are responsible for all of the climbing routes and problems in our facilities. We look for creative individuals who love climbing and are motivated in the art of route setting.

Job Responsibilities include:
Design and set creative and engaging routes and problems on boulders, ropes, spray, and training walls
Set up and cleanup of Setting Zones
Forerunning, tweaking, continued maintenance of routes and problems
Maintenance of climbing holds and equipment
Collaborate with gym management on route planning, safety considerations, maintenance and equipment needs, and event and instruction programming as it relates to setting needs
Engage with the climbing community for “real time” setting feedback

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of climbing experience and a passion for the sport
Prior experience Route Setting
Ability to set creative routes, problems, spray walls, and training assets
Competition Setting experience a strong plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Receptive to feedback and commitment to professional development
Excellent customer service and community engagement skills
