Job Title: Recreation Leader, Part Time
Location: Johnson Legacy Center in Huntsville AL.
Compensation: $13.63 Hourly
We are looking for a rock climber who wants to help grow the rock-climbing community as a team member with Huntsville Parks and Recreation: https://www.huntsvilleal.gov/environment/parks-recreation/recreation/recreation-centers/johnson-legacy-center/
Responsibilities
Work involves responsibility for organizing and leading a variety of recreation and sports activities for diversified age groups, including belaying rock-climbing participants, teaching rock climbing fundamentals, assisting in daily maintenance inspections, and giving climbing orientations under the supervision of the Climbing Wall Coordinator.
Work also involves the use of tact and skill in dealing with patrons, maintaining order and discipline, and assisting with special events and activities.
