    The Assistant General Manager is a leadership role that directly assists the General Manager in impacting the culture and vibe of the gym(s). The Assistant General Manager will play a part in facility oversight, cultural and training development of staff, financial growth, policy implementation, and safety standards enforcement of their local Climb facility(s).

    Climb is headquartered in Nashville, TN with 5 total locations: Nashville, TN (3), Murfreesboro, TN (1) and Bentonville, AR (1).     Details Matter

    • Demonstrate a proficiency in organization, initiative, and accountability
    • Perform, train, and emulate all indoor guide and senior indoor guide responsibilities
    • Track progress and development via weekly KPI reports

    Staff Management

    • Perform and train all indoor guide, event, and party responsibilities and proficiencies
    • Identify, delegate, and check accomplishment of cleaning and upkeep of the facility
    • Consult on hiring / offboarding and managing job postings and interviews
    • Develop staff schedules and submit for approval
    • Facilitate all new hire day-one onboarding
    • Execute continued staff development for all levels of employees
    • Collaborate with GM on annual compensation and performance reviews
    • Assist with daily staff huddles, weekly SIG meetings and other rotational staff meetings/events

    Admin

    • Manage bank drops and ensure proper balance at drawers and safe
    • Manage email inbox with timely responses

    Operations

    • Collaborate closely with GM to manage groups department
    • Develop relationships with local businesses and organizations
    • Manage the event calendar and oversee bookings
    • Manage retail spaces and products accordingly
    • Process retail shipments and oversee inventory counts
    • Prepare and place janitorial/office supply orders + concession orders
    • Oversee processing of member change requests and overdue billing
    • Coordinate with Head Coach and take lead on Youth Team memberships

    Qualifications

    • Maintain a valid Climb Lead Approval as a Tester
    • Valid CPR/First Aid certification

    Desired Qualifications

    • Hold a B.S. in Business Management, Outdoor Recreation or significant relevant education/experience
    • AMGA certification
    • 3+ years of management experience
    • Experience with implementing and executing policies, initiatives, and corporate strategy
    • Experience with conflict resolution
    • Experience with delegation and tracking of tasks

    • Full time salaried position – pay based upon experience
